"HEAT SHIELD" (TM) Thermal Isolated internal liners are available for the inside of your boat ice box or refrigerator unit. the liner is made to slip behind or around your cooling plate. Current draw on a 12 volt unit can be reduced by up to 35% per 24 hr day, or ice will last ~ 2 times longer. You can purchase our self install kit which is explained in the customer letter , or we can pre-assemble flexible sealed liner panels for you from your measurements. You only need to put in two or three liner panels, fasten them to the ice box walls with Hook & Loop tape, and seal them together at the corners with caulking.
CABIN INTERNAL "HEAT SHIELD" INSULATOR LINER SELF INSTALL KIT
This insulation liner is constructed to be applied to the inside of the existing cabin top and made to fit around the sides and under the decks. This will keep the boat cool in the summer and warm in the winter.. The internal cover is a white washable vinyl. The liner is cut to fit with a razor knife. These liner panels are 4 ft by 8 ft. and can be assembled on site to the length you need to fit across your cabin. This item will keep a boat comfortable when below in the hot tropic summer or keep it cozy warm below in a winter environment with minimum heat requirements. when installed down the sides of your boat, it will remain, near water temperature in the tropics while at the dock or at anchor. In Alaska the liner will provide an igloo effect.

"HEAT SHIELD" Insulator liners are cut to fit by you and attach to the under side of your Awning, dodger or bimini. This item will keep the cabin entrance way and bimini. area cool in the tropics. This product will not normally fold up as tight as the Bimini so it is a good idea to install additional hook and loop attachment points in a quarter or V berth and use it inside the boat while underway. this product weighs only about 4 lb. per 4 by 8 sheet. This product is thinner than the cabin liners and is sealed to prevent damage from environmental exposure.
